PRAYING FOR OUR CITY, COUNTRY AND OUR WORLD
|
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, As you are all aware of the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and the related restrictions, we would like to inform you that we have prayerfully discussed and decided to cancel the weekly prayer meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday Mar 14). This decision has been taken in accordance with Metropolitan Bible church’s( our venue) cancellation of seniors and certain children’s ministry events, and in consideration of our overall our groups membership. Our focus will be to continually pray for the ongoing rapidly evolving situation, and also to avoid panic. As a group focused on praying for the nations and communities everywhere, we encourage each one of you to uphold our city, country and all the nations around the world during this tough times. Let’s trust in the sovereign power of God and uphold the doctors and the health care professionals for their safety. Let’s also uphold the governments at various levels, businesses and schools etc as they plan and prepare for this. We will monitor the relevant advisories and update you next Friday about the next meeting. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at [email protected], or visit us online at www.sacfottawa.ca. You may also follow us on facebook, twitter and instagram. With Prayers, SACFOttawa. www.sacfottawa.ca facebook.com/SACFOttawa instagram.com/SACFOttawa twitter.com/SACFOttawa Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
